Let’s talk about creating your Upsell
One of the major mistakes I made when I was shifting into the information business was that I was so busy with dishing out content that solves people’s problems, that I was not thinking of how I can make money when potential clients finally start knocking.
Don’t make that mistake!
After you’ve found your niche of choice as discussed in chapter 2, the next thing to do is to start looking for ways to monetize the knowledge you will gain and give out through your lead magnets.
Trust me, the moment you start solving people’s problems with your lead magnet as discussed in chapter 5, you will begin to get noticed.
And when this starts, you will discover that people who are so blessed about the quality of information you gave them for free will reach out to you for more guidance.
Although sometimes, if not most times, they won’t willingly reach out to you to help them more, indirectly to sell them something. Rather, they will give you signs through their comments, and if I were you I will go on and reach out to them in the DM and turn them into a client.
But, how can you go ahead and turn them into a client when you do not know what to sell them at the back-end?
Well, in my own business, I am very good at web design, sales funnel, and digital marketing. So I map my conversation to create a need for these services.
Of course, not all of you can do what I do, so, below I will list out products and offer you can give those who has seen you as an expert in the back end.
Some of the products and offer you can use as an upsell for your potential clients are…
- Advanced Training Program on that niche.
- Video Courses (e.g on Udemy)
- E-book or Cover Back
- Apps related to your niche
- Affiliate Products
- Your skills related to your niche.
- Your templates: derived from your success in that niche.
- Transformation: through a do-it-for-me program. (high tickets clients)
These and many more that I can’t remember off the bat here.
When you create your lead magnet with this in mind, you can find a way of mapping your funnel to create a need for those services, so as to get paid.
Finally, before this training winds down, there is one last thing, which is very important in the quest of making money using this strategy, that you need to know.
And that is about creating an irresistible offer for your potential clients.
