This is the ability to manage your emotions and that of people around you. Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a highly sought after skill that helps you to be aware of your mood and emotions in response to situations around you.

Having a high EQ makes you act rationally in heated situations instead of blowing your fuse. You are also able to manage people of varying temperaments and characters and build good working relationships with them.

This is the ability to generate unique ideas, options, and possibilities to aid problem-solving, effective communication, and organization growth.

Creativity aids idea generation and makes you a valued member or any team or organization.

6. Critical thinking

Is a valued soft skill that helps you to take responsibility, quell dire situations, and manage people effectively.

Leadership helps you to influence people to achieve their goals through motivation. As a leader, you are required to possess a positive attitude to work, demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, be empathetic towards others, and the ability to manage conflicts.
