Do You Know That Authority Is The New Money

Authority is the new money.

I lied?

Before you jump into conclusion, I believe you should have heard or said something related to the following?

“He was my boy, now he is killing it.”

“He met me in this game, but with little taste of success, he is full of pride.”

“I was working on that idea, but he stole it”

Let me add this: “We went to the same school.”

 

Really?

You know those shitty “trying to feel good” excuses people that supposed to be winning but are loosing say?

To the gut, I hate it when I hear those words…

Even from my own mouth. 😂

I know some of you at one point in time or the other have said these words or similar ones.

I am no saint either. I also have done it in the past.

These are words from someone who’s got the skills, knowledge or experience, but hasn’t yet get it right by positioning him or herself.

Some of you might have been into different things over the years that you can rightly say you are experienced in it, even if it’s a little.

In fact, some of you might be a genius in whatever you might have learnt or experienced.

But the one reason why others that share some common ground with you are winning, and you are not, is that they positioned themselves when they saw the opportunity.

Gbagaun!

In other words, whatever plans you have, your experience, or ideas, for you to be able to record success with it, never wait till tomorrow to initiate them!

Because, in the words of the great evangelist, tomorrow might be too late!

Take actions today by positioning yourself. And if your position is not good enough, reposition yourself.

Break free from your day dreaming.

Nothing real happens in the dream world.

Whatever you dreamed to do or be, it doesn’t have to be perfect in the beginning.

Just do it!

Don’t waste half of your active years in buying courses and reading blogs of the same topics but different titles and words again and again.

Getting knowledge is good, but not knowing when to stop and start positioning yourself with what you know is where the problem is.

 

Take a time off, reexamine yourself.

What do you have (knowledge, product, idea) that other people might need?

Look for those people, and help them.

If you do this, you will become recognized in that niche.

When you do, remember this…

Don’t become an authority… but the authority.

Authority is the new money. 💰
