NOW, LET’S GET TRAFFIC YOUR CONTENT

Now that we are through with the tedious stage, which includes finding a less competitive but high paying niche, and creating your first lead magnet.

In this part, we are going to look at how to become visible in the ever noisy and busy internet world.

Traffic

There are two main methods used in gaining visibility online.

ORGANIC TRAFFIC

In this method, you have to get into the trenches. You have to post your content on the platforms available in other to get eyes to see your content.

Of course, there are numerous platforms available to use, but the most popular ones with great algorithms and systems to help you grow fast are Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Although they are all great to use depending on what forms of content you want to promote, In this chapter, I will be talking about using Facebook as your platform for organic visibility.

HOW TO USE FACEBOOK IN GETTING ORGANIC TRAFFIC TO YOUR LEAD MAGNET.

In Facebook, we have groups, and these groups were created for different topics and events.

So, if you want to get visibility through Facebook, just like I did back in 2018, and still consistently do, what you need to do is to first, log in to your account, and enter the keyword to your niche in the search box.

After the results have been listed, go to the group menu, and see the list of the groups that talk about your niche.

Check the ones that are active by looking at the number of posts per week.

If the post per week is less than 4, don’t join the group. It is not an active group.

On the other hand, if the group churns about 400 to 3000 posts per week, run. It will be very hard to be visible there because your post will quickly go under the carpet.

When you have found a group that suits your need, you can then go ahead and join them.

The rule of thumb here is to join at least 2 and a maximum of 4 groups per month.

What is next is to start posting your content to the groups.

Here, I will like to open your eyes to the fact that you can go the personalized route by first looking at what people are asking for help on, using the search function in the group, and typing words like “help”, “I need help”, “what can…”. Then do your research on the questions using the method described in chapter 4, before posting the answer as a content back in the group.

The reason for this is obvious. You are solving the direct problems of the people in that group.

Alternatively, you can just post your lead magnet content there knowing someone will connect.

Although I do my research on the kind of questions people in my niche ask before creating my lead magnet, whatever way suits you, I found out the first method converts at 60% better than the second one. And that is because each group has its own unique members with their unique problem.

Now, let’s look into the second method for gaining visibility, which is known to be the Paid Method.

PAID TRAFFIC

In this method, all you have to do is to look for keywords that describe your audience, where they hang out, their interests, and most importantly their behaviors online.

This is what you need to set up your Facebook advertisement and launch it.

Although this is the fastest way to get people to see your lead magnet and subscribe to your list, it is at the costly side of things if you don’t have the budget.

If you want to get maximum results like me, you can combine the organic and paid method of getting visibility.

In the next chapter, we will move to how you can monetize your efforts with the knowledge you have acquired.
